WOW

Well the States for shopping is better if you are in to brand names which I am assuming is what you mean. Though I would disagree with you in that Canada is much better than the states in General.

Canada to me is...

Free Health Care
Overtly Friendly
full of interesting people
gigantic in size
tiny in population
much more democratic than the states
cold
Hot
colourful
multi cultural
accepting
healthy
liberal
has three ocean borders
is the second largest country in the world
has very few murders in comparison to other countries
is a 1st world nation

Canadians to me...

are educated
are friendlier
are healthier
are happier
can speak some french if they are not fluent
are for the most part patriotic
are more aware of the world

and the list can keep on going

Well, I think it's pretty sad that you are an unproud Canadian and that you admit it. It sounds to me like you need to spend more time getting in touch with your own country then being on the internet asking silly questions.

I was born and raised in Canada. As an adult I've visited Australia, New Zealand, England, The Netherlands, Poland, Malaysia, Thailand, Greece, Gibraltar, Spain, South Korea, China, Hong Kong (before it was returned), Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, The Cook Islands, Tahiti, The US. I've lived in India, Afghanistan, Croatia, Bosnia and the UAE.

After all of that I can only answer that....

Canada is awesome!!

You should learn about it sometime. You may also learn to appreciate it.

full of hockey freaks. like me :) but im in the states

hard place to live with the subzero winter weather and the people must be tougher than people who always live near the equator were it warm all the time. i have been to canada a few times and i usually explore / walk around all day when ever i'm in a new city at look at everything and chat with people i run into. all the people i ran into were nice and everyone was helpful, they gave directions or told me were to find a nice place to eat, etc. i would go back again the Canadians seam friendly toward americans which is a factor in my traveling plans. i have herd how americans are treated in france and other countries where bashing americans is popular these days. i will spend my traveling / vacation money in the countries that welcome americans.

How about you go live in a poor country, where its HOT and HUMID and no airconditioning. And it has poor schools or no schools, no health care, massive corruption, no work, lots of crime.
I think I will stay here in Canada no matter what.
CANADA IS.....THE BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD TO LIVE AND I'M PROUD OF IT.

Kick *ss!!!!!

Why are you an unproud Canadian? We live in an awesome country! I would never want to live anywhere else in the world! I used to feel like you when I was younger, but as you grow up, you really come to appreciate how great we have it here compared to everywhere else (except for maybe some European countries).
