Canada question?

Where is the most scenic part of Canada? I am wanting to take a vacation. I have been to Ottowa and Montreal. Both very nice. But I was wanting a more quaint relaxed atmosphere where there is a lot to take in.

I'm from southern Ontario, but I've traveled Canada and you should try British Columbia. the mountains are beautiful and the ocean is right there too. Stay out of the prairie provinces. They are flat and boring. The maritime provinces are beautiful in the summer months and Prince Edward Island has great beaches of red sand.

Take the scenic route go Via rail from east to west or shorter whatever you time constraints allow.

Canadian Rockies are spectacular. Stay in either Banff or Jasper and then explore the area from there. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.

Take the Canadian Train #1 from Toronto to Jasper, then tour JAsper and than take a round trip bus tour from Jasper to Banff. The tour will include a stop at the Columbia Glacier. The scenery is breathtaking. The Canadian Rockies are magnificent.

I would say BC. I've never been there, but have always wanted to go. Lots of nature there, nice mountains and bike trails.

I've only ever been to Toronto, Niagara Falls and Northern Ontario.
It can be nice in those areas, but by far the Rockies are the most scenic part of Canada.
Banff National Park would be a nice place.

The Rocky Mountains, which pretty much follow the border between Alberta and British Columbia, are spectacular, or if you prefer ocean then coastal BC is also lovely. I especially like the coast further North where it's not so urban.

Check out the Nova Scotia Tourism site. It is a great destination for site seeing esp. natural settings and the people are great esp. on the coast. Halifax has great nite life too.

Nova Scotia is beautiful and the people are awesome.
I am also partial to the west coast, you have all the serenity of the ocean with the mountainous back drop. It is truly breathtaking. You can never go wrong with Vancouver/Victoria.
