There is no mail on Dec 25th & 26th. It will go back to regular times on the 27th.

Boxing Day is a statutory holiday and most businesses are closed. All government employees, including Canada Post employees, have the day off. Back to normal tomorrow, but there will be no delivery on January 1 (New Year's day) which is also a Statutory holiday..

It will continue tomorrow. Today is considered a stat holiday.

Canada Post does not deliver Boxing Day, it is closed the same as all government services. Boxing Day is not a statutory holiday, contrary to another post, but it is a government holiday. The mail resumes Dec 27.

There are various statutory holidays in Canada. They do not apply in all provinces.
New Year's Day, Good Friday (not in Quebec, where Easter Monday is staturory), Victoria Day (not in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island), Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day (not in New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward), Remembrance Day (not in Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, and Nova Scotia), and Christmas Day.

Boxing Day is statutory ONLY in Ontario and federal jurisdictions. Canada Post observes federal calendars.

Easter Sunday is staturory in Quebec only.

Yes it will continue tommorrow, they don't deliver/pick up mail on holidays or weekends, but besides that, they deliver everyday. In some areas they deliver/pick up twice a day (most areas is only once a day, but the populated areas [such as Downtown, Toronto] has it twice daily {besides holidays and weekends of course}).
