Canadians.....If you had to...?

If you had to move to another city in Canada other than in the province you live in now, where would you move? I live in Alberta and would probably move to Halifax.

Thanks for the great response to this question!

Adam G, Jasper is in Alberta not BC. You're close but not quite. I love Jasper. Its very beautiful and I would consider moving there if it was't so expensive.

I think my first pick would be Montreal. I have lived in various places all over Ontario, and really love traveling in Quebec. Second to that would be small town in Manitoba. Any town, just low population and lots wilderness.

Just cuz from what I have seen it looks beautiful.
But I love my town so I would rather just stay here:)

I'm in Montreal right now and I would probably go to Vancouver. I love Montreal, so I'd need to move to another city and I really don't like Toronto (I don't even know why, being a Montrealer, it just works like that)

Anyway, if I had to move somewhere it would probably be out of country, to Barcelona or Buenos Aires.

I would definately go to Vancouver, BC.
I visited in September and I loved it.
It had a great vibe, was multicultural, temperature is great all year long.
Also, there is a great industry there for film and acting, so I would definately be able to get alot of work done.
Also, Id be close to my brother and family who live in California.

There is alot of culture in Vancouver, tons of different types of places, and is similar to Toronto.
Also, the city is so beautiful, is fresh, the National Park is gorgeous, there is less pollution, the city is safer than Toronto0 without a doubt.

I'd move back to Ontario (which I will do in 3-4 years or so). Alberta is OK but Ontario just feels comfortable to me and more like home. I was raised there so I'm sure thats a big part of it.

Each place has its charm, but with it comes the nasty weather on the coast, for some reason harbor cities also have higher crime rate. Depending on the reason one moves.
Lived in Ottawa loved it

I like Ottawa, but Halifax is tough to beat

Mat J
Yes definitely Halifax, it is beautiful, rich with culture, on the ocean, and has a sick skatepark! Other than that I would choose Vancouver

I live in Vancouver and would never leave BC. I would consider moving to the Okanagan for warmer weather in the summer and for a smaller town, but never out of BC - the most beautiful place on earth.
