In Canada they drive on the right.

When days of old when men were men and knights wore shining armour, people would travel on the left hand side of the road so that there sword was between them and anyone approaching. (Same reason spiral staircases in castles go clockwise so defenders can use there swords at the invaders coming up the stairs) Anyway, so the majority of countries the UK colonised in the last couple of centuries now drive on the left.
Napolean was left handed. So he insisted on marching his army on the right so that his sword was between him and his enemy. So the majority of countries that France set up colonies in (including Canada) now drive on the right.
Don't know if this is 100% true but it's what I've been led to believe.

milko
i think its the left

KNOWALL
You drive in the shade.

susanradford18
It's opposite to the UK. And when you're at a junction in the city, if you're turning right, you can go through the red and turn right. IF you want more information go to the tourist board of where you're visiting, eg, Toronto's tourist board They have alot of information for tourists.

spaceindian2
In Canada, driving is on the right.

jjthinstrips
I believe it is on the right just as the USA...

rastaracer33
In Canada, they drive on the RIGHT side of the road as opposed to the UK where they drive on the WRONG side of the road.

We drive exactly the same way as the Americans.
In England, everything is reversed and they drive on the left.

hec
No, it's the right-hand side of the road, like in the U.S. However, unlike U.S. the speed limits are in km/hour, not in miles (and gas prices are per liter, not gallon).

EZ
no

I lived here all my life.

You drive on the right and we use the metric system like the rest of the world.

Opposite to the UK. on the left.
Plus I think you can trun right on a red if the road is clear. Its been a while since I drove in Toronto. Its very similar to driving in the States.
Have fun

No its on the right hand side. There's only a few countries that drive on the left, the UK and Malta are the only two places i can think of at the moment.
