It's extremely cold in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The big cities like Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal are great (though the temperatures still dip down in Toronto and Montreal in the winter).

My family is from Vancouver and there is an extraordinary number of foreign students like yourself who come to Vancouver to learn English all year round. Additionally, Canada is very diverse as there are all immigrants worldwide who come to Canada, so I'm sure you will be able to connect with other people from Mexico.

In terms of starting a business, definitely look into getting the right type of Visa so you can live and work in Canada legally.

Good luck!

I like Vancouver

South-western British Columbia (Vancouver/Victoria area) has the mildest weather of anywhere in Canada. It is very beautiful out here. The economy is doing well now, although the cost of living in the cities is high. Cities like Winnipeg and Saskatoon might be cheaper to live in, but it is extremely cold there, and snowy at least 6 months of the year. Do you want to live in a large city? What kind of work would you be looking for?

When I came to Canada 38 years ago I looked at a map to show where the most work was, Toronto, a good area,

The most money maybe these days is in Alberta

In Brampton, Ontario, Gods country

Toronto is a clean, safe, cosmopolitan city with a wonderful network of parks, recreational, and cultural facilities. Toronto is the home of four professional sports teams and the third largest English-speaking theatre district in the world, behind New York and London. One of the world's most ethnically diverse cities, it is home to more than 80 ethnic communities from Africa, Asia, and Europe. Toronto is also the business centre of Canada

Anywhere in Western Canada. Like other people have said, British Columbia is beautiful. Kelowna BC is gorgeous, but very expensive to live.

Bobcaygeon Ontario..small town 1.5 hrs north of Toronto. Safe, good schools, lots of nature. Mostly tourism and agriculture, and retirement community. Quality of life versus typical big cities. Stable politics and a growing town, near lots of bigger towns.
