I recently got my G2 and wanted to cross the border into the States to go shopping. Me and my friends are all 16 and 17 and i was wondering if they would allow us to cross, and if they will, what else will i need to bring besides passports/proper I.D |

Since you are all under 18 each and everyone of you will need a notarized letter from both parents giving you permission to go, where you are going , length of time you will be gone, and with who, when you will be back, and all their contact info, addresses and phone numbers they can be reached at.
You will need a letter from the registered owner giving you permission to drive the vehicle across the border and while in the US, so that they know you are not just out for a joyride type thing!
You will need original birth certificate, and you can use your Drivers License for ID as well, but will only ask for your birth certificate since you are under 18. Anyone that has a passport take that along as well, just makes crossing so much easier, but it is not a requirement for land travel as of yet. |

A passport is best, but you will need a photo ID and a birth certificate. I'm not sure about the ages. You might need your parents since you are under 18. |

The U.S. has great shopping malls, so I'm sure you'll have fun. They'll ask for your license, and ask a few questions to the people in your car. I remember when i crossed the border back to the states They asked me(I'm the youngest in my family), My parents names and about my brother. Surf the web, I'm sure you'll also find some good resources. |
