Most girls love English accents but there are so many different kinds of people in Toronto that it won't matter what kind of accent you have because most other people have some kind of foreign accent too.

Alex,

I'm a Toronto girl and so are all my friends. We alllll love an accent as long as it compliments intelligent thought. If you are not a dog, you are decently groomed, not too ugly, and you can come up with non-offensive, un-arrogant, interesting things to say, I would say you are at a considerable advantage above others in your gender (at least in school because it doesn't matter if you have money at that point). That British accent adds to your exotica quotient. Also, if you bring a bit of that dry British wit with you from England, it will be a VERY VERY GOOD THING!!!!

Some do, some don't...you know.
Lots of different accents in Toronto, you'll be fine.
Have fun.

Catherine :[
Some do, Some don't !

But they will not like your low self esteem, I don't think they care much about the accent

dont deny who you are. It's a part of you

Um since when did canada claim to be like Britain sir?

Anyways, Canada is a very diverse place so mostly everyone is used to accents over here. It wont be anything exciting, but you may get asked about it.

Yes I love British accents they are so cute!

Mr Natural
Probably, they think they're British- you know, queen on the currency and that bit. But they probably like Bengali and Somalian and Chinese accents better if you know what I mean.
