Why would we sneak into a country that is more worse-off than ours.

There is no improvement from Canada to the US, its not like Mexicans where the US is an improvement.

There really is no fence in some areas, just a sign that says your entering the U.S so you wouldn't have to jump into the U.S you could really just walk.

YOu seriously do not know much about Canada or Canadien if you believe that .
We have equal if not better quality of life than the USA
YOu need to research and realize we are not your other neighbours Mexico and don't have their economics

I will answer this question without being anti american as I have some american friends. But NO we would not ever do that and there are many reasons why.

1) The US and Canada are generally the same same entertainment, language even whether is alot similar its nto cold all the time it reaches 100 F in the summer so there are not many differences there but yes you do have some nicer weather in the winters but its not bad like you all think it is up here

2)we have an amazing economy SO MANY JOBS our unemployment is rediculously low our wages are higher even when our dollar was lower still the average minimum wage where I am from now is like 10.50 an hour to work at mcdonalds

3) Unlike what poeple thinkg canadian are patriotic we love canada. We unique because we are a melting pot you can go to another province and you literally feel like you are in another country yet everyone has canadian values. WE have lakes, mountains, beaches, surfing, big cities multiculturalism is huge up here very anti assimilation

4) Healthcare. American you have no idea how great it is. Dont listen to propoganda we dont have horrible wait times. Yes if you need knee surgery or somehting you will wait longer but life saving and important surgeries are instant. I get strep throat I walk to the doctors wait 30 min read a mag. no paperwork i get in doctor looks at me I get prescription leave no paperwork get my pills for 5 bucks and walk out no paperwork. I know WHATEVER happens im looked after. We dont have a poor system like cuba what poeple think we have same technology as you and our healthcare is ranked higher by the WHO than the US. I have had one friend and one acquaintance both americans one had an axiety attack it cost her $3000 and she had health insurance. Another dies form cancer he could never get health insurance because he was born with certain medical problem so he was never able to get diagnosed but in canada he would still be alive today we just never have to think or worry about that.

5) WE ARE NOT COMMUNIST. We do not yearn to come to united stated capitalist society. I make more money than my counterparts in the US. Another healthcare US propoganda issue is that because our healthcare is public doctors dont make much. One of my best friends is a doctor he has a mercedes, caddy, home here and a home in phoenix.

America we are not better than you we are just different and those differences we hold very dear. Alot of things I really respect and admire about america and their culture. We are very much alike so there is no need for us to move down there for something different and for those things that we hold dear ie. healthcare, education, multiculteral diversity are canadian values that we do not give up. So that is why we would have no need to jump across the boarder for most of us it would mean smaller wages, less jobs, less benefits, and a loss of all we hold dear.

And still after all this we are not LIBERALS. We have a liberal party yes which is more left wing than conservative but it is not socialism. I think that any american can agree that left wing is far better than facism. I am a hard conservative which is canadas government right now but I still hold these values like public healthcare important.
