Do Canadians like British people and welcome them to live in the country?

I know the questions sound a little stupid since Canada is a British dominion

I think Canadians generally are welcoming and friendly to anyone who wants to live here and be part of our country. If you are asking if it is easy to immigrate to Canada the answer is "No". The process is lengthy and complicated.

I heard the canadians are like the nicest people on earth

The only problem that you may have in Canada is that they think your accent is cute. It's an easy place for British people to settle into so long as you can take the cold winters (but you will love the hot summers!)

smart guy
It does not matter where you come from i will treat you the same. That`s the way i would like to be treated,I will be polite and friendly. You would have to personally give me reason not to like you.

Why wouldn't we? I wouldn't care if a Brit moved here. My unlce is British. Its so neat to hear the accent. :)

i am canadian and i know myself as well as many other canadians accept not only british people, but people of any culture.
We're a very multicultural country..
There are the racist pigs, but those don't represent the majority of the population,.
We're very nice people, we don't bite =]

That's "WAS" a British Dominion, buddy.

Your generalization is staggering. There is no prototypical "Canadian". We have nice people as well as racist jerks. Thank you Pierre Eliot Trudeau.

We love the British and I personally love your accents, especially the Liverpool and Bristol area dialects.

I think you may actually be asking an Immigration question?
You can't just pack up and move her without first qualifying under our immigration system.
You'd have better luck if you were a hardened criminal living in a third world country claiming refugee status, then you could come here and live off welfare for the rest of your life.
Check here for Immigration to Canada procedure:
