Do Canadians think 54 degrees celsius is hot?

That was the temperature in Death Valley, California last summer in the Desert. It reached 54 degrees celsius.

If it were 54 degrees celsius in Canada, would Canadians find it unbareably hot? If you walked outside your door right now and it was 54 degrees celsius out, what would you wear?
Additional Details
Death Valley in January is a pleasant 25 degrees celsius at day, and around 13 degrees at night.

I know that this Canadian found it hot when he had temps like that during the Afghan summer. Mind you, I also had to wear a tonne of protective gear and hump a ruck for a week. American, Brit and Aust soldiers also found it darn hot too.

I would think anyone would find this unbearably hot. That's about 130 degrees F.

as a Canadian on a scale of 1-10 I would say that is fu--en hot

Well seeing as it's -30 here right now 54 might be nice for a few minutes but any longer than that and it would be unbearable. If I walked outside and it was that hot I'd probably wear as little as I could get away with without being arrested for indecent exposure.

As would any Americans.

isn't 54 Celsius really hot?

Death valley can get up to 130 fahrenheit... so I'd guess canadian's would think that was hot (as would any sane person)

Yes, this Canadian thinks it is hot. But I experienced it myself in June 2008 and I did not melt. I experienced 119F in Stovepipe Wells, at the bottom of Death Valley.

However, I after being here almost 8 years I only got rid of my non-air conditioned Canadian car last December. I even drove to Vegas once in the summer in it without A/C

But then I live in LA now and quite enjoy the desert. Give me that 110F weather any day over the -40 I experienced in Edmonton growing up.

.
ok sure

Wow, 54 C is hot. But what makes the heat worse in many parts of Canada like the US is the humidity. A temp of 40 C with high humidity might be more uncomfortable than a dry 54. Both are unpleasant though for sure.

J'aime la natation!
For cooking no, for outside yeah. I think I'd hide in the basement all day if it ever got to that. Haha. I can see why they call it Death Valley. I'd rather have -54C
