Do Canadians think the terrorists should be punished?

Do Canadians think those responsible for the attacks on the hotels in Mumbai, India who killed 165 people, that those who led that attack should be rounded up and put in jail?

or not

Of course Canadians do

pinkpiglet126
And why would anyone think otherwise?? Of course they should be.

knh959
Well duh!!!! No, we want to see the one surviving terrorist set free so he can wreak his carnage again in another part of the world.

Yet another candidate for Yahoo dumbest questions category.

mj_puce
Yes if it were in Canada we have laws against mass murder. Every one of them who fired a shot should get life in prison without parole.

I'm not sure what kind of person, from anywhere, would say they should not be punished?!

of course, string em up by their nuts,...

Canadians believe in justice just like any other civilized society.

If you commit a crime such as the Mumbai attacks on innocent civilians, just to try and further your cause, you should be prepared to face the consequences.

Keep in mind that it is an act of justice to find the people responsible for the attacks and prevent them from committing more violence against a society. It is an act of revenge if you use these attacks to go and commit the same violence elsewhere if it does not target the persons responsible.

No. I'd rather they be taken out back and shot.

Canadian judges are so ridiculously useless that if the terrorists were tried and convicted in Canada, the most they would get would a be a couple of months on probation. That's why crime is running rampant in Canada.
