as canada is a member of the british commonwelth it enjoys cordial relations with th united kingdom
although canada is an independant state (and rightly so as it has enjoyed independance for a long long long long long long time) our gueen (queen elizebeth) is canadas monarch as is the case in astralia and newzealend as well.
so i doubt very much you will have any problems geting into canada without a viza.
however it is always worth checking with your travel agent just in case i have got it all terribly wrong ! i know....its a terrible thought but it may happen lol
