No, you do not need a visa to visit Canada." You can go to the website below. Fill in the box for your nationality, fill in the "alien resident" box with "U.S.A.", then fill in the destination as "Canada". Then click. It will tell you if you need a visa. You may also go to the 2nd website and read under the section titled "Visitor Visa Exemptions." Read the 2nd paragraph in this section. It states that permanent residents of the U.S. do NOT need a visa to visit Canada.

It depends on what nationality you are. U. S. green card only allows you to enter and stay/work/live in the US (i.e. permanent resident). Since you are not a US citizen but some other country's citizen, you might or might not need a visa to enter Canada.
For instance, as a South Korean with an US green card, I do not need a visa to Canada, because Canada do not require Koreans to get a visa. But if I was an Albanian who has US green card, My nationality as Albanian, I cannot enter Canada without Canadian visa because Canada requires all Albanian Nationals to get a visa.
I have a link underneath that tells you what country's citizens need a visa to enter Canada.
