Do I need to get a passport to go to fly to canada from the US?

I am under 18 and I am going to canada this summer. do i need to get a passport. Will my US liscense be enough?

Yes you need a valid passport when flying to Canada and / or any other countries from the US and since you're under 18 you'll also need a notarized consent form signed by both parents

all international travel including to canada does now require a passport. i had to have one to go to mexico.

Yep, they changed it like a year or 2 ago. In June they're going to also have people who cross the borders by land have a passport.

if you are 15 or under you do not need a passport, if you are 16 or older you do

If you are under 16 and traveling by LAND, you may use your birth certificate, but ALL persons, including minors who are FLYING to Canada must have a passport.
