Do Medical Schools in Canada speak English or French?

I'm considering med schools in Canada but I don't speak French.

French is an official language in Canada, but in most parts of the country English is the predominantly spoken language.

If you are looking at a med school, pretty much anywhere but in Montreal, you're guaranteed they will be speaking English.

If you go to McGill in Montreal, instruction should still be in English, but you would encounter a lot more French in daily life. Hope this helps.

You can choose to study in English just about anywhere in Canada, including in Montreal, or you can choose to study in French in the province of Quebec and in a handful of universities in other provinces, i.e. Ottawa (Ontario); Laurentian, in Sudbury (Ontario), or Moncton (New Brunswick).

On a personal note, I would change one letter in your nickname, i.e. the final "e" which I would replace with an "a". Otherwise, you may get strange, unsolicited messages and you'll wonder why...

wont be a problem.....all primary med schools english with the exception of Lavel in Quebec city which is strictly french. The other big med schools in Canada like;
McGill in Montreal
University of Toronto in Toronto (UofT)
University of Edmonton (UofA)
University of BC (Vancouver UBC) http://www.ubc.ca
would be english only.
