Canada is a great place to visit and to live, but unless you have either a work permit or have gone through the immigration process, you cannot just fly here and stay as long as you like.

If you come for a holiday you must have booked a return flight to show that you do not intend to stay - you would be an illegal immigrant if you did that!

If you would be here on holiday you should bring enough money with you, or credit cards or whatever, because you would not be allowed to get a job and work because you don't have a Social Insurance Number (SIN) to enable you to get a job.

Come for a holiday though, you'll enjoy yourself - Canadians are pretty friendly and will make you welcome!

Yes as a tourist, temporary visitor, you do need a return ticket and enough money i.e credit card, travelers check....otherwise you have to go through all the immigration process like anyone else if you want to live and work legally in Canada as a permanent resident

I think you have to contact the canadian embassy and arrange with them if your object is to emigrate to cananda. If you are going on holiday you need to prove that you are not staying by getting the return ticket as well

hallo,
a return ticket is a proof that you are not going to overstay in Canada, That you'll come back to your home country before your allowed stay period expires.

Hi! I'm Canadian but currently living in England. When I moved here, I got a one-way but whenever I go on holiday I need a return. So you have two options.

(a) If you are going on holiday get a return ticket

(b) If you are going there permanently then buy a one-way (If you are moving there then the website was wrong)

You will need a visa thing to allow you to stay there. The Canadians are very strict

Hope this helps!
