You can take a visa, mastercard, amex, whatever you'd like. But you do need your passport to cross the border. Don't even think about taking weed!

kikayrakista
No you don't, just have your passport, documents, and most importantly your green card!

You need a passport or a passport card as of June 1, 2009. Prior to that your birth certificate and a picture ID

Steve-o
if your driving all you need is your birth certif. and and drivers licencse or some form of picture id with a us address on it. this will only work till june or july of 2009 then you will be required to have a passport.

you need a passport but not a visa

What country are you a citizen of? The fact that you have permanent resident status will only do so much for you. If your citizenship is to a country that Canada requires a visa of, then yes you will need one.

Yes you would need to have a tourist visa with you. They will ask for it.
