Two things to do.
Check the prongs on your electrical stuff. Canada use two flat bladed and one round pin in the electrical outlets so what you have must fit in the holes.
Next voltage Canada and the US and a very few other countries run on 110v. Most of the world runs 220v. Some things can deal dual voltage. This can be checked on the plug. What does is normally cell phone, cameras and laptops. These are all low wattage use. High wattage travel irons, curling irons and hair dryyers are going to work but O so slowly.

Canada's electrical network is on a 120VAC system, which is the same as the U.S., so if you're coming from anywhere in North America you're fine. Europe is the only region I know of that operates on a 220VAC system.
