All travel outside the US after January 1st will require a passport. I know you will need two forms of ID one with a photo- so it would be better to be safe than sorry and take both--- have a good time- dont forget to hit the casinos

Depends when you go.

Chances are no, but Bush was passing a passport law requiring a passport. Don't know when that's going to come into effect though.

Definitely, years ago I used to go to the Falls and seldom they ask me for id, however due to the problems we have had lately you have to come up with full id to cross the border, and if you just want to see the falls from the US side, you are going to miss the best part of it..☺

Renee
Yes, you do - but coming back into the US, they don't really check your birth certificate. (The Canadian side of the falls is beautiful!!)

From the states, as of now all you need is a photo id, but it wouldn't hurt to bring along your birth cert. as well.
