I'm sure you're joking - are you thinking about the Americans who cross the border in August with ski equipment tied to the roof rack? Crazy, eh?

Gallifrey's Gone
Yes. Igloos are especially suited to the spiral staircases that are typical of Montreal's architechture:)

steph
yup! they sure do.. and they have dog sleds to get them to and from work (which are just bigger 'loos) and they have penguins for pets..

hehe i love that term . loo's haha

No dear, Montrealers do not live in Igloos. Check the website of any Real Estate company in Montreal and you will see that people there live in houses just like the rest of Canada. They are made of wood, brick with regular glass windows, they have indoor plumbing and central heating systems, and running hot water too.
Come up and see us some time!

If they want to live in an Iglo..
it's THEIR freedom of right to live in any place they choose

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! You gotta be kidding? All I wanna know is what they would do in the summer when their house melts!!!! You know, Montreal is a wonderful city, with really BIG buildings!!! Not Igloos!!!
It really isn't snow there all the time you know. You must be one of those Americans that would bring your skis to Canada in July!!

luvboys1
Are you kidding me...?!!! Its not that up north...! We do have houses UP here...!!!

nellierslmm
Why, of course they do! And they hunt and fish for food, and drive ski-doos during the winter and horse-buggeys during the summer. They don't have electricity, nor the telephone. It's really fascinating!

Hope you heard the sacrasm... I feel sorry for you.

Yeah, right!! They do for sure!!, did you know also that there are more penguins and polar bears than people...

Be really careful of the iglus, since a french penguin may come out and bite you, especially if you are an american who starts to talk to him in english assuming that he speaks it, of course he does, but he prefers to speak french...
