Do motels have towels?

My Fiancé and I are taking a road trip to Thunder Bay Canada. It will take us two days and no doubt we shall stop off at a motel along the way. I have been to many, many hotels and they all have towels. Do motels have towels too or should I pack them?

Thank ^_^

they should, actually I would say yes they will. I can't imagine a motel not supplying them.

jellybeanchick
Yes they do, although depending on the motel they may be old and worn out. Don't forget that you can ask the front desk for more if they don't leave enough for you.

Anthony C
Yes but sometimes it is better to bring your own. If you like the real nice expensive soft kind.

Yes motels do have towels. Although I worked in a hotel for four years and based on the things I have seen (which I won't bring up here as they would probably shock some people) I would definitely pack my own. I never use hotel/motel towels. Surveys down on hotel/motels have shown some shocking and disgusting results on the cleanliness of an average room. Even if things are washed properly you still find all kinds of germs and bacteria. You have no idea who has used those towels before you or how well they were washed. Also most hotels/motels only wash the towels that have been used and leave the towels that are still in the rack. Which wouldn't be a problem except you would be surprised how many people will fold a towel and put it back in the rack after using it. They think they are just being tidy and making it easier for the maids but really they are just taking a risk that the maid will assume the towel is clean because it is in the rack. So maybe its just me but I always bring my own towel and don't even get me started on the pillow.

Yes but I would bring your own just in case. Some motels are okay, some are not

It depends on the motel, the one's I have been to have towels. Call the motels and ask if they have towels.

kj
Yes, they have them.

They should have towels.

tortor
Yes, they do have towels. I would bring some of my own towels though because motels aren't as clean as hotels.

Rat
Yeah, motels have towels. But it wouldn't be a bad idea to pack an extra towel or two in case you spill something in the car or decide to go swimming.

I've never been to one that didn't.
If you know where you staying you could call in advance and find out. You never know about them Canadians. They would be weird enough to not provide towels.
