do the teepee's in america have numbers? |

No. You just have to recognize people's houses by the shape of the lumps of snow nearby, by how many dogs are tied up in front, and by the style of their dogsled, stuff like that. It sometimes makes for a little confusion on the part of the letter carriers, the UPS guys, and the guys coming to hook up your cable, but sooner or later they find the right place. |

No body lives in igloos in Canada, in most places the temperature is the same as northern US. Most of us live in houses or apartments |
|

Maybe???
 |
Yeah, and there are intersections made strictly of ice that have names. The igloos also have refrigerators and portable heaters. |

It's kind of neat to have igloo jokes here.
They don't have such jokes in Canada after about Grade 3. |

The igloos of which you speak are not numbered.
Really, why would you think such a thing?
Obviously, you need to be better educated on such things.
Listen very carefully to what others say about igloos.
Lastly, note the first letter of each of these lines.

Like someone else said: yes they do, but they melt in the summer. This is more of a problem in recent years because of global warming; the numbers are melting earlier than they did in yester-years.
There's a government-funded pilot project going on now that has residents creating the numbers out of mud and beaver sinew, with the hope that the freezing rain and snow will cover them nicely with snow during the winter to match the igloos in appearance, and that they will keep their form in the summer. This seems to be working so far, but some animal activists and patriots are upset by the use of our national animal's tendons for such trivial uses. Other animal tendons just aren't as durable, however, and the mud will just wash away with the rain if not held together with some kind of sinew.
Others are upset that more money is going towards the igloo numbering project than towards the polar bear naming project or the Hudson Bay hockey rink development project. Obviously not all three major projects can be attempted at once, and the igloo numbering project should take priority. After all, what's the point of turning Hudson Bay into a giant hockey rink if you don't know which igloo is meant to be for dressing rooms, equipment storage, and spectator seating? They would all need numbers for that. As for the polar bears, I think they could be just as easily identified with mud-sinew numbers on collars than with name tags. |

Ok why does everyone think Canadians live in igloos? No one does, and never did so no none of the igloos have numbers because they don't exist. |

Right...heres a little geography lesson for ya, Most of Canada gets the air streams from around Cali/hawaii/mexico etc. there for we get some pretty decently hot weather here. In the summer it'll go up to about 86 degrees F. but if you want cold weather go up north...its a good...well its really damn cold. But no one lives up there...well ya some people do but its really nice up there. 97% of Canada lives 1 hour or less from the american border...and 97% of that 97% live along the border of Quebec and Ontario |
