yes typically every Canadian kid has a pet polar bear but usually they dont ride them to school, only on "snow days". They are the only way for the kids to get back to the igloo in howling blizzards.
Lately its been hard to get them though. The ice being so thin makes herding them difficult (global warming. ) It was never the easiest process even before the ice melted but now really really tough. You've heard of "herding cats" well it aint nothin compared to herding polar bears. |

Yes, except when they're hungry. Then we usually offer to let tourists with silly questions ride them.
Would you like to come up for a ride? |

Every day. They're toasty warm to ride on, but I hate it when they detour onto an ice floe and make me late for school..... |

Absolutely, and here's proof:

To avoid being late you may need to hire a wake up service such as this:

Well considering the fact that it never snows here except up in the north where no one lives no we don't. And the fact that polar bears are some of the most deadly animals to be around |

No we travel across the frozen wasteland to school in a sled pulled by a team of wooly muskox. The driver carries a rifle to shoot any hungry polar bears that would otherwise devour us. |
