Not everyone. I moved out of cave last year. Got married and built wooden shack. Now wife wants electric, whatever that is. Saving up for a horse. My sister moved to America and became very stupid. It must spread.

don't be silly,,we ride on dog sled's and of course live in igloo's,don't ya know

No you are definitely thinking of somewhere else. As someone said we are supposed to drive dogsleds, live in igloos and eat whale blubber. Seriously though how many people actually believe this crap. A friend of mine used to work at the border and he said it was unbelievable how many people would cross the border in July asking where the nearest ski hill was and they had skiis on the roof. What are you people thinking? My parents live in a house (a nice little cape cod in fact), drive a mini-van and drink lots of Tim Horton's coffee. If you want a stereotype, that one might be a little more realistic. A bunch of Canadians standing in line for their Timmie's coffee waiting to play Roll up the Rim and win a new mini van to park in their driveway. Their driveway that has no snow in it in the summer. Who keeps telling people this things? Or are people too stupid to realize that New York is not really that far south of Canada, and if they have summer in New York, than crossing the 49th parallel does not mean scaling a wall of ice to get into Canada.

Absolutely correct. But we're shy folk and don't like people to come and see how backwards we are, so please don't come to Canada. And tell your friends not to come either.
In fact, my internet connection is a tin can tied to a string.....

Yes, and when we are not using the horses for transportation, they run the treadmill that generates the electricity I use to power my computer.... LOL

Well, old Bessie is getting tired, I guess I have to get offline now and give her a breather...

PS I hope you know what sarcasm is.....

Yes, we do, and we're quite happy with it. This is probably typical of the sort of question a person interested in professional wrestling would ask (check his profile).

stillafeminist87
Are you stupid?

scubabob
Do you brush your teeth with a rock and drag your hands when you walk? Gee...I may really believe that as well.
The asnwer is no, but I'm sure there are research scientists living and working in a cave and some of us do use horses for transportation like the Mennonites, but hey...you likely have them as well.
Edit: I see sonic is up to her usual psychotic self. She's American today. Is Tahitian or Burmese next on the schedule tomorrow?

girl_lost_without_compass
Actually, we do not live in caves. We build igloos. Wearing only our mucklucks, touques and polar bear skins, we carve out great patches of ice with nothing more than a large seal bone; preferably the hip bone as it has the best curve to it. Then we load up our sled team of huskies and small shitzus and head off to spear something for dinner. Have you ever tried fresh, raw seal testicles? The ones from the western albertan pack seals are the best. Great on toast. You'll have to come visit some time. I'll set up a moose hair cot for you over by grandpa. He snores a bit, but with his flatulance problem, he'll keep you from freezing to death at night.

Not any more. Since we bought the second Tv set 4 years ago and were able to watch how our neighbours to the south live, we all bought mobile homes , live in trailer parks, and have begun breeding with family members. After 2 more generations, we ought to be smart enough to get electricity. Duh

This is no joke- What kind of school did you go to? Do they teach you anything regarding other countries? Do you have a car? How young are you? Maybe you are so young that you better ask your teacher this question!!
In the Toronto area called the GTA we have a population of more than
10 million people. Our buildings are just as big as Manhattan buildings and skyscrapers. Please go get more of an education.
YOU NEED IT!!!

First of all, I want to comment on Wyldcatt76's answer. Apparantly Wyldcatt76 has a friend who works at the border. Apparantly countless times this friend of Wyldcatt76 saw Americans coming through the border with snow skis in summer.

I seriously beilive that is an all out lie to degrade Americans. I have never in my life heard of such a thing. Americans arn't stupid and were not ignorant. It is sadly Canadians who are the ignorant ones. They are too self obssesed with there "perfect" country were everyone is so smart, that they have a notion that us Americans are idiots, and are ignorant.

How does Wyldcatt76 know the person asking this question isn't Canadian themselves? It could easily be a Canadian trying to degrade Americans. OH BUT WAIT . . . let me guess, a Canadian wouldn't ask such a question right?
Because Canada is so perfect right?
Because Canadians are all that right?
Because every single Canadian is smart right?
Because Canada isn't America right?
Because Canada is a peaceful country right?

It's time Canadians get a grip, and grow up and end the childish games of Canada VS USA. It's immature and has become the most idiotic thing I've ever seen on Yahoo! Answers.

And as for the actual question . . . no Canadians do not live in caves and use horses instead of cars. Most Americans know that, and obviously the person is asking this for a little fun, or is joking around. This person could be America or Canadian, or British, or whatever? Who knows?
