It's all in the eye of the beholder, and in what regions you visit.

New York City is one of the greatest cities in the world, but it's got its nasty side. Vancouver has its good and its bad. Just like everywhere else.

Every growing city has its problems. I have lived here 68 years and love it

I think if you compare Canada to most other western cities it is still rated as one of the highest in terms of being a great City with regards to Crime levels and so on it still rates very high in top city poles, Every great city has its issues :)

Vancouver has certainly gone downhill in the last 20 years. It used to be a beautiful city but urban blight and an nasty increase in gang crime has tarnished its image. Compared to American cities the same size it still seems like a paradise.

?
yes i think vancouver is a cesspool the city if full of junkies, the streets have needles all over them, the crime is massive, very unfriendly, the city is very creepy because u have all this REALLY NEGATIVE stuff going on, but its all around beautiful scenery!!!!has the highest hiv hep c in the developed world!!!!!!!!!!!its really really gone down hilll and its only going to get much worse!!!!!!!!!!!the shape the city is in now its way to late to bring it back!!!!!its becoming a descrace to canada!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
