As of July 2007, there are over 340 Tim Hortons locations in the United States. These are primarily situated in (and the areas surrounding) Buffalo, Rochester (New York), Detroit, Flint, Saginaw, Bay City, Midland (Michigan), Columbus, Dayton, Toledo (Ohio), Erie (Pennsylvania), Charleston, Huntington, Wheeling (West Virginia), Maine, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
Future expansion and opportunities will continue in the above listed markets for the next several years, in addition to new expansion areas of Richmond (Indiana), Lansing (Michigan) and Syracuse (New York).
Hope this helps |

We have them here in western New York and we love them. But there weren't any in New York City, where I lived. |

Yes, the U.S. has Timmy's but it is very few. Unlike Canada, the city down the road from me has approx. 20,000 people and like 7 Tim Hortons lol. We do love our Timmy's.
I meant to try Tim's when I was down in the states as I heard it tastes alot different but I didn't have time. A lot of Americans don't like Tim Horton's coffee, they seem to be really keen on Dunkin Doughnuts. A friend of mine that lived in Canada up until she was 18 then movied to Ohio says the coffee at Tim's in the states tastes horrible lol. No wonder the American's don't like it, they must be brewing some different stuff. |
