Most Businesses in Canada accept US Dollars.

Most places I've gone to in Canada take the US Dollar. However, there are some places that prefer you give them the Canadian dollar.

I use a credit card. Then, I don't have to worry about it. And, I get a better exchange rate than depending on the merchant.

You can use US money but you will no get as good an exchange rate as you would if you bought Canadian money at the bank.

When I went to Canada, we tipped our waitress with US currency. But you can pay US dollars there.
