I used to watch North of 60, Wind at my back, Road to Avonlea, Anne of Green Gables and it seams these days there nothing much Canada made. I watch Corner Gas, I've watched The Guard a couple of time but I can't get into it, for some reason it won't sustain my attention.

Rick Mercer report is hilarious. Little Mosque on the Prairie is a good one.....Moccasin Flats I enjoy, The Res, Cold Squad, Blue Murder........
I like Corner Gas, but it seems that Brent Butt is not all that funny, and I could do without him, I like the rest of the cast though. They make the show. I couldn't get into the Guard either........

I think you're right that there isn't much good Canadian programing on. A lot of the good series wrapped up in the past couple years and a few more are in their last season. Stargate Atlantis is pretty good if you are into SciFi, SG1 wrapped up a few years ago. |
