They've really cracked down on boarder crossings and passports. It seems too many terrorists were getting thru those boarders. No longer can people travel into or out of Canada without a passport. So my answer is Yes, a 3 month old baby born in Canada needs a passport to go to the USA for a short visit. |

Parents traveling with children and infants are required to provide identification and proof of citizenship for each child. If both parents are not present, the traveling parent must provide a signed statement from the other parent allowing the child to travel out of the country.
