To travel between Canada and the U.S. by LAND you need a proof of citizenship...birth certificate OR passport. American minors under 18 ,travelling with someone other than their parents must have letters of permission. I cannot find documentation that this is also true for Canadian minors, but I believe it would be a wise idea. |

You dont need a passport just yet, but you will need to bring photo ID and a birth certificate. They are really strict about it lately since the requirement of passports is just around the corner. Have fun shopping! |
