If you're driving over the line, no. All you need is a Birth Certificate and Identification. |

Looking at the Canadian Border website, it says: "If you are a citizen of the United States, you do not need a passport to enter Canada; however, you should carry proof of your citizenship such as a birth certificate, certificate of citizenship or naturalization or a Certificate of Indian Status, as well as a photo ID. If you are a permanent resident of the United States, you must bring your permanent resident card (i.e. green card) with you."
Also, if you are planning on traveling to Canada, I would not fly into Boston, but instead fly into Buffalo if you are going to Niagara Falls or Toronto area, Burlington, VT if going to Quebec, or any cities in Maine if you are going to the Canadian east coast. |

candada? you mean Canada? hmmmm anyways, and your question, no you don't need a passport if you are "driving" to Canada from US....you need a government issued ID such as your driver's licence and your birth certificate |
