I highly recommend that you take a passport with you. In today's world of tight security, you should take it just to be on the safe side. |

If you are from the US, no not yet, although the US will require all visitors even Canadians to have to get into the US. If from another country, passport is required. |

no... I went a week ago I live about 20 minutes from the border... they just asked me where I was going when I went in, and they asked for my pic Id on the US side coming back in... I had my Birth Certificate, but they didn't ask for it... some crossings ask for them... Make sure you bring it just in case.It is up to the discretion of the border patrol on duty .what they ask for. Id is required Pic. |
