In the UK no form of identification is required when travelling except when travelling by air.
Vehicle drivers do not need to carry their licence but may be required to present it at any Police Station when asked.
There is currently no National Identification card.

Nope! You are free to travel all over this great white north, no problem-o!

Not in the United States. I assume that Canada doesn't require this, either.

All you need is an I.D., but only if you're travelling by plane. All Americans are free to travel within the U.S., unless they are suspects in a crime.

Usually no, but with your fake name, you will need to prove which one of you is travelling.

I don't know the Canadian laws, but in the United States, you do not need a passport to travel domestically...at least not yet. :)

(I know you do need a passport to travel from the United States to Canada and Mexico now, and that is a new change.)

Well, if you are in canada, you DO NOT NEED A PASSEPORT, therefore, you must have some id on you, you can get arrested if you dont have any ID ON YOU... THIS IS SERIOUS you can verify by your self, here the link of The Royal Canadian Mounted Police

http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca, it's like the FBI for the united states...
