umar
nope

Taylor
No!

craxygirlnextdoor
No you don't. Canada and the US have the same adapters so bringing your own equipment will be fine. But if you find that you are travelling outside of Canada and the US, always check with a travel agent on adapters for you equipment. Even checking the web on which countries you might need adapters can be useful.
You don't want to travel to Australia and find out that your hair dryer is not going to work without the adapter.
When buying an adapter, any luggage store will have a set of adapters that you can use in most countries. The price is not that bad and they are easy to pack.
