Having lived and worked in every province except for Newfoundland, I can say Quebec is right up there among the best. Beautiful scenery in the province and aside from the language concerns, the people are friendly, helpful and not being able to speak french in most areas of the province is not too hard to overcome. Every province in our great Nation has good points, beautiful scenery and friendly people. Personally , I believe Quebec is tied for the best province with 10 others. |

I don't think so. Can a place be called the best when they insist on speaking French - and acting like the French, for that matter? Better go with Ontario. |

Is there really a "best" province? I've had the pleasure of travelling just about everywhere in Canada for my job. Each province has it's own unique characteristics that make it great...
NFLD: some of the nicest people in the world
NS: beautiful Cape Breton, the South Shore, Lighthouses, Lobster
PEI: Beautiful countryside, Bud The Spud
NB: Acadians, Beaches, Garrison District
QC: Picturesque towns, vast pristine north, Unique French Canadian culture
ON: commerce, the Great Lakes, wine, Niagara Falls
MB: Polar Bears, best in-land fishing
SK: vast prairies, Lake Diefenbaker, Snowbirds (Moosejaw), RCMP (Regina)
AB: Edmonton (the nicest city in Canada), Tar Sands, Foot Hills, Banff
BC: The Rockies, wine
NWT, Nunavut, YT: Inuit, stereotypical Canada, the far north
Wow, and that is just off the top of my head! What a great country we live in period! |

Quebec is the most unique province in Canada, and probably most interesting cultural-wise. But I'd have to say that the West is Best- Starting from Vancouver Island , Interior BC, Rocky Mountain Alberta, Sask-itoba to Northwestern Ontario. Then Quebec, the North, the East Coast, the rest of Ontario, then Cornwall Ontario- then and only because it has to have a place- in the last best place in Canada is Toronto. |

I don't know because I haven't visited them all. I have only been to Toronto a few times and once I visited Winnepeg. I am planning to visit Quebec in the future and looking forward to it. |

I don't know yet, but I'm going to Quebec next week :o)
But every people who went to Canada and who visited different province told me that the west part is more beautiful, the landscapes are great where the Rocky Mountains are. They also told me that Vancouver is a very nice city. |

Quebec is only good for Political Turmoil with a strange accent.
British Columbia is definitely the most attractive Province in Canada. |

?

No Alberta has the Alberta advantage. I'm sure Quebec is okay though but people can work in Alberta. |

NO, Quebec has pretty women but it's the armpit of Canada in my opinion |

Depends on what you mean by best...Scenery? People? Economy? Politics? Culture?
Quebec is certainly interesting, but each province has its attractions. The towering and majestic mountains of British Columbia. The vast open fields of Alberta and Saskatchewan. The glorious old-fashioned landscapes of the maritimes. Nova Scotia. Certainly, I'd put Ontario at the bottom of the list of best provinces, and Quebec among the top, but not at the top. |

It is much better than those other provinces in Canada.
It is a shame we are forced to be part of the dirty nation Canada has become. Quebec is a beautiful place, with friendly people who will welcome you with open arms.
Other provinces like Ontario . . . the people are rude, and it's filled with dirty factories, and heavy industry and again the people are rude and arrogant. DO NOT GO TO PROVINCE OF ONTARIO.
Go to Quebec and you will enjoy life. |
