No (if you are westerner). Yes (is you are from Asia).
Confused becoz westerner know Petrol as gas which is not going to come down as it is limited resources and economics says if demand is more than supply then price rises. If you are from Asia then for you Gas is natural gas. Resources for which are plenty and still unexplored. So as new resources are revealed and cost effective process for supply of the same comes out it will be cheaper. |

They should, I live in California and they are over 3 dollars now, but usually they go back down after a while! |

I eventually think it will come down, maybe. I guess it is something you really never know.
But I had been hearing that prices should becoming down a little, which I've not seen yet. But I guess they were trying something that was supposed to be more economical, it failed, so they aren't using it anymore. The price of whatever they were using increased gas prices, now that they aren't using it, it should go down some. But so far, gas has continued to go up. So who knows what will happen. |

maybe a little, but i doubt that it will be anywhere near $2.00 again, except in Venezuela where it's 12 cents per gallon! |

Gas prices will remain volatile as long as the world does. If the world were to calm down then the prices would fall to about 70-80 cents per litre Canadian - but over the long haul demand can only go up and supply will either remain flat or not increase with demand - so the overall trend will be to more expensive gas - unless we use technology and lifestyle changes to reduce demand.
As a Canadian, I wouldn't really worry too much. The Canadian economy as a whole is more or less unaffected by oil prices since we are both consumers and producers. |

I sure hope so.
I did find a Hess in the Horsham/Willow Grove, PA area that has Regular for $2.91 a gallon.
Glad I have a 4 Cylinder, 12 Gallon Tank. It's great on gas. |

I have no crystal ball but I do know a way to get the lowest prices at any particular time. Check out this web site when you're ready to fill up: http://torontogasprices.com/ |

Yes they have to. For two reasons. First since gas prices are high the oil companies make a lot of money. They take the profits they earn and look for new sources of oil and build new refineries. Once they have built new refineries and found more oil that increases supply and drives price down. Second reason: A more indirect reason is high gas prices force people to change their spending habits which means some businesses lose money and have to lay off workers. When this happens on a national scale, the country will go into a recession and that will drive down demand. Lower demand and/or higher supply means lower prices. |
