Does Canada have "the bomb"?

Canada has never had a nuclear weapon in its aresonal. Canada did contribute in the research and raw materials of the "Manhattan Project" which develped the first atomic bombs used in World War II. The Atomic Energy Plant in Chalk River, ON was the base for much of this research during the war. Since then, Canada has developed nuclear energy only for peaceful purposes. Canada has built nuclear reactors across the world, these are called CANDU reactors and are intended for peaceful purposes only. The United States did want to place nuclear weapons on Canadian Soil at one point, but the government at the time would not allow it and it was a low point in US-Canada relations.

No Canada does not have "The Bomb". They have the technology to make one but will not be making one.

No Canada does not have nuclear weapons. They have the technology to manufacture them but do not. They don't want to be a target

I doubt it,because I do think that they are part of NATO and are protected???by USA.They seem to stay pretty detached and don't get involved with many global situations.I think they also are like Switzerland and are very neutral in all international affairs.Hey, use your internet and bet you'll find out for sure.

I'm sure the USA has secret Nuclear weapons in Canada and Canada would use them if they needed too

Canada barely has an Army - they take full advantage of living under the protective umbrella of the United States, and frankly are not always so appreciative of the benefits that this arrangement gives them.
