Hmmmm....here's how it goes....during hockey season, to make it more interesting, we open the game to American teams. This is why Americans hear about us up north. Once the season is over, we take down all the signs with directions to Canada....and lo & behold, you guys can't seem to find us.
For the rest of the year we quietly sit up here drinking "good" beer and watching all the silliness eminating from our southern neighbours (Paris Hiltons latest antics come to mind). We just bide our time until the time is right for us to swoop down and annex you all and make you into a province of Canada.......

Yes but please remember that hockey season extends from late August/early September until mid June. During July and August the dedicated players go to summer hockey schools and summer hockey tournaments. Hockey season in Canada is 12 months long!!! |
