Both do. USA owns a portion and Canada owns the " horseshoe" part.

There are two waterfalls. The bigger and more popular one belongs to Canada and the other one belongs to the U.S.

charlie_dope
well the 'horseshoe falls' are in canada but there is part that is in the states(canada's is bigger and better)

Niagara actually has two portions of the falls. If you mean the traditional "Horsheshoe Falls", that part is in Canada. The "American Falls" and "Bridal Veil Falls" are the parts that are in the USA.

Both New York and Ontario have a town named "Niagara Falls" situated at the end of the falls on their respective sides.

The Welland Canal is used by both countries (as well as international shipping) to bypass Niagara Falls and reach the ports in the Great Lakes, such as Buffalo, Cleveland, Toledo, Milwaukee, and Chicago.

The crappy falls is on the U.S. side. The horseshoe falls (the good one) is connected to both sides but is considered to be Canadian

pcny77
the falls on the canadian side belongs to canada and the falls on the US side belongs to the US. I heard the canadian view is alot better because the US side has the bigger and more attractive falls.

its split in half. theres a city called niagara falls in canada and the states. but canada owns most of the falls and has the better view. i've been their a few times. the view is really nice, especially at night when they light it up with spot lights!

It's half-n-half. The U.S. owns a side and Canada owns a side. The nicer, viewer friendly side is in Canada, however.

ultrasuperman1001
Its both but mainly Canada

Soccerislife10
I think canada, but there is a canadian side and a US side

According to the U.S.G.S. (United States Geological Survey) of Niagara
Falls, it appears that almost 1/3 of the Canadian Falls lies within US Territory
