Does anyone know of any good campgrounds near Toronto?
I'm looking for something within 50 miles of Toronto. Anything simple is fine. I just need to be able to rent a cabin or a tent for a night. Also, if hiking is available, it'd be great...I'm just not sure if Ontario has mountains. Googling topographic maps of Ontario didn't turn up with great results.

There are no mountains in Ontario, however, there are some great hiking routes. The Bruce Trail runs from Niagara Falls up to Tobermory and offers hiking for everyone from the beginner to the most experienced.
For campgrounds in and around Toronto, check out www.campgrounds.org. You are able to search by region to see what campgrounds are available. There are quite a few in the Toronto area.
