Does anyone know of any major differences between Americans and Canadians?

One lives in the United States of America
and the other lives in Canada.

C'mon what kind of question is that?

We are all the same when it comes right down to it. We are all born the same way, we all require the same necessities of life, food, shelter, love, guidance and respect

There are no differences between a Canadian and an America other then our address.

We don't really have any political enemies, where as the Americans do. Guns are illegal, and Health care is better up north, unlike down south (as mentioned by the guy above). Canadians make way better hockey players. Many people here are bilingual. We are a commonwealth country, which means we still honour the queen and her coutry. We have provinces instead of states. There are quite a few, but the guys above do have a good point. We are all red blooded mammals, and we all deserve equality. Hope I helped!

Canada: healthcare no guns
America: no healthcare, lots of guns

The ethnic make-up is different.
About 25% of Canadians speak French as a first language compared to Approx 0% in the USA.
About 1% of Canadians are black vs about 10% in the USA.
About 1% of Canadians speak Spanish vs much more than that in the USA.
Americans have a very different idea about the roll of government than Canadians.

Simple.

Canadians will tell you that they're very different from Americans. They'll usually point out all of the differences between them, as well as many of the things that they perceive Americans as being. They'll usually tell you about how most Americans are loud, arrogant, ignorant (especially of Canadians in general), and much too violent. Canadians generally come across as not thinking too highly of Americans.

Americans will tell you all of the way that they're similar to Canadians. They'll usually point out all of the similarities between them, and will usually tell you that they believe most Canadians to be polite, nice, and decent. Americans generally come across as thinking rather highly of Canadians, and consider them their friends.

Why do people keep asking that STUPID question? *bangs head against wall*

If you're going to generalize millions of people like that, then the reality is that there are NO differences between Americans and Canadians or any their nationality. All humans bleed the same blood, that's all there is to it.
