Yes. Victoria, Parksville, Tofino, Campbell River, Port Renfrew, Zeballos, Port Hardy. I rest my case.

It is a crime if you live there and don't get to every corner of the Island.

V.I. is a great place to visit. My husband's mother's side of the family is from Courtenay and we go there frequently. We use it as home-base and do day-trips. We also went to Tofino one summer and the drive (even though i had to drive both ways) was exquisite, especially Cathedral Grove. All of those old trees.

It's a much slower pace, which is what you want for a holiday, but i'm not sure i could live there. I'd miss the world-class cultural events, theatre, restaurants etc. of Vancouver. But for a holiday, it's pretty idyllic.

Yes it is awesome..the whole coast of BC is awesome.

My husband does - that's why we're moving there this spring! I hope I like it as much as he does - he lived in Ladysmith for about 12 years. We are going to buy there or in Comax. The pictures are sure pretty!

If you have any advice for us, please email at lacticrat@yahoo.com.

Cheers,

Samlet

Yes Vancouver Island is the most AWESOME and BEAUTIFUL
place to live

The only downfall is the cost of ferry to get back and forth to
Lower Mainland
