Yes. Victoria, Parksville, Tofino, Campbell River, Port Renfrew, Zeballos, Port Hardy. I rest my case.
It is a crime if you live there and don't get to every corner of the Island. |

V.I. is a great place to visit. My husband's mother's side of the family is from Courtenay and we go there frequently. We use it as home-base and do day-trips. We also went to Tofino one summer and the drive (even though i had to drive both ways) was exquisite, especially Cathedral Grove. All of those old trees.
It's a much slower pace, which is what you want for a holiday, but i'm not sure i could live there. I'd miss the world-class cultural events, theatre, restaurants etc. of Vancouver. But for a holiday, it's pretty idyllic. |

My husband does - that's why we're moving there this spring! I hope I like it as much as he does - he lived in Ladysmith for about 12 years. We are going to buy there or in Comax. The pictures are sure pretty!
