Yes, Canada does exist and NO it isn't all frozen in the winter. Parts of Canada are SOUTH of Washington State, Oregon, Montana, Idaho, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
Not all of Canada is "Sgt. Preston of the Yukon" as seen in the old movies.
There is rich farm land and we grow many very good crops. Including wheat, corn, soy beans, sugar beets, Oats and barley to name a few.
You must be a typical American that doesn't know anything about Canada out side of the movies.
To Fletcher...I happen to be an American citizen and I will tell you what...there are many less hypocrites in Canada than there are in the USA...In a USA newspaper article of several months ago now it ranked countries by friendliness...the USA was second to last above only Iran...Iraq was above...Canada was fifth from the top. I am now Canadian and glad of it. |

Are we just a dream?

It was there about 15 minutes ago when I did my daily bike ride along the St. Clair River (which divides Michigan, USA and Ontario,Canada). There were cars and people and homes and industry, etc. and they sure looked a LOT like us Americans. When I got home I noticed it was about 75 degrees (Farenheit) in Michigan but remembered it was only @23 degrees in Canada and was surprised I didn't see any ice or snow across the border- then I remembered it was 23 degrees Celsius (which the rest of the world uses) which was probably slightly warmer than my 75 degrees Farenheit. Questions like this, by people on both sides of the border, are why I sometimes sense a dislike of Americans by Canadians (and vice versa) when I'm on either side of the border. |

Typical Canadian egoism; someone asks a question they don't like and they assume it's from a moronic hick American. No doubt you'll be standing in the Air Canada line for Florida/Vegas/NY/LA soon enough. Hypocrits. |

Yes, Canada does exist, proud and free. You obviously can't mean to have asked such a simplistic question, so perhaps you could explain more fully just what it was you were trying to ask? |
