Does it snow in Victoria B.C.?

I plan to visit Victoria in late November, I know it's listed as one of the dryer parts of B.C., but will I be able to see snow at all? I really would like to (being from Hawaii and all).

thats a maybe.
the last few years, the snow started later than usual.
Take the ferry across to the mainland and go to the mountains if you want to see snow.
Go to Whistler and try snow boarding or skiing for a day

Whistler typically has opened towards the end of November, around the 25th to 29th. Victoria is not one of the drier cities in Canada, its one of the wettest in fact, especially in the fall and winter, oh yah and the spring .... anything coastal is a lot wetter than other areas of Canada.

The drier areas of BC are in the southern interior, where its semi arid

I don't know about snow in November, but I know that their climate is pretty moderate. It is a very beautiful area, lots of flowers lining the streets and on the corners.

I used to live there and I only remeber it snowing about 1-3 times a year and it's never that much snow it usually melts the next day.

Once in a while but not very often! I don't think you have any chance of seeing any snow in November.

Not very likely. It's certainly not a dry part of BC, they get plenty of rain, and not much chance of snow.

I went there last year in February and it snowed a bit, but it melted as soon as it hit the ground, and the local people were saying that was about as bad as it gets. Victoria BC is the only place in Canada where palm trees grow, so you will be going to the warmest place in the country.

I do remember being able to see snow on the mountains in the distance so you will see it, just not up close. Either way, Victoria is a beautiful place to visit and the locals are very friendly. I'm sure you will have a great time. :)

ohmahgah.
i live really close to victoria, and we never get much snow... especially in november! (dont expect much)
