Does it take 3 ½ hrs to get to Toronto ? |
hey i know you think this question is very stupid and that i could go to yahoo map to find this out but i got in a fight with my friend about this i didnt start it, all i said was that i was going to toronto and im going to do my homework in car cuz i have nothing better to do for 3 1/2 hrs then she like it doesnt take 3 1/2 hrs thats all she said. everyone knows when you are saying 3 1/2 hrs your just estimating it may take longer but 3 1/2 hrs is the min. when someone says it doesnt take 3 1/2 hrs to get to toronto you think they saying it takes less time because its commion sense that it would take longer. all i need to know is im i right or is she |

Yes. From wherever you are, it will always take 3 1/2 hrs. Whether you start in Kanata or Kamloops, its only 3 1/2 hrs. This is me being sarcastic by the way.
Let me ask you this question. Does it take you the 3 1/2 hrs to drive over to your neighbour's house? Probably not, right? That's because you know where you are starting from and where you are going to.
Now think about this a bit...When you posted this question, did you figure that everyone knows where you live?
You told us where you are going...Toronto. You did not say where you were coming from. So no one can give you the right answer. About all we can do is guess.
Here is my educated guess. This is where Grade 6 math comes in handy...
If you are in a car averaging 80KM/H and you drive 3.5hrs, what cities are in the radius away from Toronto that could be your possible starting point?
I end up with 280KM away, meaning one of these cities should be close to you if you are about 3 1/2 hrs away:
NORTH - South River, ON
EAST - Gananoque, ON
SOUTH - Bradford, PA
WEST - Sarnia, ON

It all depends where you live. It takes 5½ to 6 hours from Montreal. |

Well, it kinda depends on where you start out from..............there are many places that it could take 3 1/2 to get to TO from..... |

well it all depends on where you are traveling from and on traffic conditions. |

If you live next door to me, it'll take you about 31/2 hours depending on the traffic. |

You really left out a very important detail, which I'm sure a few people overlooked. WHERE are you starting from? It could take you 3 1/2 hours to get to Toronto from a neighbouring city based on traffic ... or it could take 3 1/2 hours from cities as far away as Windsor or Kingston ... |

Depends on how many pee breaks you take.
I'd say closer to 4 hours.. |
