Not to a native Canadian, no. However, if you've immigrated in recently from a warmer country, say, China, or Brazil, then you would probably feel the cold. You'd probably not want to go out in the cold, or walk either faster or slower to places. Maybe you'd prefer to take a car.
Only little, minor things, even if you're not used to it. The winters are longer and colder, but it doesn't last all year (we get pretty warm summers) and it isn't SO cold that we freeze. |

Compared to what? Any weather affects daily life.
We do have to pay for more energy in the winter months (Nov-Mar) |

Not DAILY life. It's only cold in the winter.. and its more so the snow that effects my daily in life winter, than the cold. |

There is only really cold weather in canada for about 3 months..Dec, Jan and Feb. The rest of the year, its not very cold. Summer is quite hot. In places like Toronto to Montreal, it is very very humid as well in the summer.
We just wear warm clothes in the winter! |

I'm from Winnipeg and the cold can be bothersome but to a true Winnipegger, there's nothing we can't handle. And maybe i'm a small minority...but I actually like the tickly warm feeling of a minor frost bite, ice is fun whether you're skating on it or your car is sliding on it straight into a snow bank, snow is like having a yard full of meter-high play-doh (remember how much fun it was when we were kids?!), warming up after a long day of being outside in the winter is the most comfortable feeling in the world, rosey cheeks makes anyone look 10x better, it's great to stay in bed because your room is too cold, having perfect ice rinks for 6-8 months and slurpee keeps a perfect consistency even hours after buying it! My brain may be permanently frozen or something but I love winter! |

No more than any other weather does. We are used to it, and it's only cold for a few months. We pay more to heat our houses, but people in hot climates pay to cool theirs.
The only time we are affected much is when things get closed down for a day or so because of a major snowstorm, making driving hard and affecting airports. We dress warmly and go out to play in the snow and skate on the ice.
I find hot weather much harder to endure, and we do get quite hot summers. |

Not if you are used to the weather. I live in Minnesota and I used to live in ND which is by the Canadian bored near Winnipeg and I was used to the cold weather. So I am sure it does not bother those who are native to Canada. |

Yes, there is a HUGE effect!
Nobody wants to go outside, unless for sporting. (skiing, snomobiling, hockey.. etc.)
Traveling often takes longer too, due to dangerous road conditions.
I'm in Ontario. Summers are very very hot though! |
