Downtown Toronto Shopping?

Whats the main intersection for shopping in downtown Toronto? And what kind of stores are there? I need a whole new wardrobe. Yes, I know about Eaton Centre, but im looking for little vintagy-funky boutiques. Also, some people say downtown is cheaper but some say its more expensive - what do you think about the area im heading too (vintage-funky clothing)

If you're looking for 'funky' and 'vintage' stuff, definitely check out Kensington Market (Try Courage My Love, Dancing Days and Shanti- awesome stuff there). Also try Queen West (Black Market Clothing, especially).

definalty check out Queen street west, Kensington Market (Kensington Market is a godd area for vintage stuff), York Dale area, the brewery district also has some shops in it. Bloor street also has some boutiques. sometimes it is cheaper but if your looking for designer it will be expensive.
go to google then click on maps. click on the white box around the red dot thing. type in shopping boutiques and it should give u a list of shopping boutiques.

Queen St. - just outside Eaton Centre. There are a lot of boutiques and shops down there and they sell for less.

Bay and Yonge or just somewhere around Bay - are those signature clothings (i.e. Louis Vuitton, Lacoste, Holt Renfrew) and all. these are the expensive area..

Queen Street West would be your best buy, for "groovy" and "hip" fashion (and home decore). Check out this webpage for more information about Queen West.

Queen street west for sure. Once you pass much music going west there is tons on great funky clothing stores. If you look in the small business stores rather than the big box stores that have made their way down the street you are sure to find something original and funky. I also agree with recommendations for Kensington Market. Cool Clothes and great food in Kensington. I would also check out the Yorkville if you are willing to spend a little more money. Have fun!
