00.00.00 ends the 22nd and starts the 23rd, simultaneously at that precise moment.
I don't know what Roundthread is talking about.
Using that philosophy, the days are only 23 hours and 58 minutes long. And, the 2 minutes between 23.59 and 00.01 belong to what day??? If I were to commit a crime in that 2 minute time frame, what date would the cop put on his report??? That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. |

Midnight, 0000hrs, or 1200 is the start of a new Calender Day, so at 11:59:59 of the 22nd day you will have one second before the 23rd day arrives.
At 11:59:59pm July22 means one second left. 12:00am July23 is the next day. Offer void. |

Midnight as you have identified is very close to the 22nd and 23rd.
Each day such as July 22 starts at 12:00am and ends at 12:00pm. Whatever it is that expires will expire at the end of the day of the 22nd of July. Thus, you can still use/have/attend whatever all day of the 22nd, but at the beginning of the 23rd, it's all over. |

Midnght is 0000 on a 24 hour clock an 12:00 on a 12 hour clock. Technically at that precise time it is still the day of the 22nd. Once that clock reaches 1minute past midnight it is given the term AM (i.e. 12:01am/0001) now it is the 23rd. |

For goodness sake, what was the point of an education?
Officially, a day starts 1 minute past midnight, and finishes at 1 minute before midnight. Therefore, for example Saturday 22 July 2006 started Officially at 0001 hours, it will end at 2359 hours, one minute before midnight, Sunday the 23rd July stars officially at 1 minute past midnight. |
