First name is "Curtis" is it a he or a she? full name is Curtis Stewart, a person from canada.?

Well, it shouldn't much matter if it's a he or she in a letter.
It's not like you'd write it differently to a man or woman.
In general I'd say it's a man's name..I've met 4 men named Curtis..
however... there is always the slim chance it was a family surname that someone decided to use as a first name.
For Example: if Joe Curtis's daughter got married and called her daughter Curtis "Smith" to honor her maiden name.

I'd just go with not using any he/she words just in case..

It's a man's name and can be spelled either Curtis or Kurtis.

Curtis can NEVER be mistaken for a woman's name.
